Hotel Blocks

The CHCI Annual Meeting 2024 does not have an official hotel, but we have reserved blocks of rooms at two hotels, the Hotel Shattuck Plaza and Graduate Berkeley, and have organized a list of additional accommodations below. Both hotel blocks begin on Monday May 27 and end with check-out on Saturday June 1. If you want to book additional dates outside the scope of our block, we strongly encourage you to do so early so that you can secure that extra night at the hotel. Please contact hotels directly for reservations and with any questions.

Update (May 20, 2024): If you haven’t yet reserved your hotel, we encourage you to book your stay at Hotel Shattuck Plaza or the Graduate Berkeley (details below). Using one of these two conference hotels helps CHCI and the Townsend Center for the Humanities stay within our projected budget. In addition, the Shattuck Plaza happens to be where we will hold our Membership Dinner on May 29. When you book with either hotel, please note in your reservation that you are attending the CHCI conference. This will help us fulfill our contract with the hotel. Thank you in advance!
