The seventeen participants in the Global Humanities Institute "Crises of Democracy through the Prism of Cultural Trauma" have been selected among early-career scholars at the convening centers (Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Institute, Trinity College Dublin; CEDIM, University of Zagreb; Institute for Advanced Study, University of São Paulo; Heyman Center for the Humanities, Columbia University; Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi) and from a pool of applicants affiliated with CHCI member organizations.
