Established in 2011, the IAHI supports campus-wide attainment of excellence in research and creative activity in arts and humanities. Its mission is to:
Support individual faculty, groups, and interdisciplinary teams in their pursuit of research and creative activity in arts and humanities;
Be a campus-wide leader in facilitating and coordinating research and creative activity, including interdisciplinary initiatives;
Serve as a locus for the promotion and integration of innovative inquiry-based arts and humanities educational experiences into academic curricula across campus.
Serve as a liaison between IUPUI and the community in the development and advancement of arts and humanities endeavors.
