The Global Arts + Humanities is the gateway to the integrated arts and humanities at Ohio State. The mission of the Global Arts + Humanities is to invest in cross-disciplinary collaborations that amplify the transformative power of the arts and humanities to respond to critical societal challenges to drive social change.

The Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme facilitates cross-disciplinary collaboration in the arts and humanities by providing support in the form of research and creative practice grants, graduate team and postdoctoral research fellowships and experiential teaching and learning grants. By breaking down barriers to meaningful collaboration, we create an inclusive culture that empowers faculty, staff, and students to foster social change and respond to emergent global challenges and enduring social inequities.

Global Arts + Humanities is part of the Discovery Themes, a university-wide initiative created with the goal of connecting experts and facilitating cross-disciplinary research to accelerate new discoveries and translate knowledge into practical solutions for meaningful impact.
