Public Humanities Network Meeting: August 14 in Cape Town

The Public Humanities Network is planning to hold a one-day mini-conference on Monday, August 14 immediately after the close the CHCI meeting in Cape Town. While the program for the event is still in process we know that two areas of focus will be "Public Humanities in Illiberal Times” and “The University and the City.” The conference is likely to be primarily if not entirely devoted to discussion, rather than to paper giving. We are seeking expression of interest from those planning to attend the CHCI meeting and able to stay for the extra day. Please email David Shumway to express interest.
