Research Project Coordinator (University of Kansas)
The Kansas African Studies Center at the University of Kansas is seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Research Project Coordinator to coordinate research team activities, monitors study performance, analyze and review results, and supervise development and implementation of new protocols. Implements budgets, grants and administrative procedures. Ensures quality of intervention and integrity of protocols to meet project goals and deadlines of the projects as defined by the scope of work. May co-author papers for presentation and publication and coordinates writing, submission and administration of grants. May train, assign duties to, and supervise research staff, students, residents and/or fellows. We are seeking candidates who have an interest in global health and social change in African and African Diasporic communities. This position will be supervised by Dr. Kathryn Rhine and will also work with Center staff, including the Outreach Coordinator, Office Manager, and Assistant Director in coordinating these initiatives with the larger goals and core activities of the Center.
