Call for Public Humanities Network Steering Committee Members
The Public Humanities Network invites nominations for membership of its Steering Committee. Individuals can be nominated by others, or self-nominated. Please submit nominations to info@chcinetwork.org by Wednesday 20 November.
Responsibilities:
Take an active part in planning and public meetings for the network
Offer advice, ideas and strategy on the development of the network
Support and contribute to a culture of inclusivity across the network
Network meetings usually comprise of:
One virtual town hall per semester
Two steering committee planning meetings per semester
One virtual workshop or discussion per semester
Public event at the CHCI annual meeting
To make a nomination, please submit:
A brief bio, either as a weblink or CV
A brief description of your current role
A brief description of why you would like to help the Public Humanities be visible and grow within the CHCI, including if you would be willing to serve as a Co-Chair
When we have a refreshed and full Steering Committee we can then nominate two co-chairs.
