2026 Humanities Centers Best Practices Workshop
For the first time, the CHCI Annual Meeting will include an additional day dedicated workshop, responding to requests for hands-on sessions on center administration and leadership. On June 5, 2026, "Building the Centers We Want" will bring together center directors and staff for intensive peer learning on strategic planning, program design, partnerships, and sustaining your team.
This is an optional addition to the conference, designed for directors at all experience levels—whether you're navigating your first year in leadership or reimagining your center's direction. Space is limited to 50 participants, and registration happens through the main conference registration process. We encourage teams from the same institution to attend together.
