CRASSH is a focus for local, national and international enquiry into the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. It aims to: promote interdisciplinary research in the arts, social sciences and humanities; foster an inclusive environment built around collaboration; provide a place for serious, open-minded discussion about difficult and pertinent cultural and intellectual issues; attract the participation of scholars, those working in the sciences and creative arts, and people from professional and public life; forge relationships with institutions all over the world; support researchers at all stages of their careers.

Visiting Fellowships

CRASSH Visiting Fellowships are designed to support the Centre's research interests, projects, and activities. The Centre offers a number of fellowship opportunities to bring scholars from all over the world to CRASSH - from postdoctoral and early career researchers to more established visiting fellows - to interact at the heart of a vibrant interdisciplinary research environment. Visiting Fellowships can be awarded for periods ranging from a term to longer throughout the University year. Fellows are expected to be in residence in Cambridge for the duration of the Fellowship and to attend, and contribute to, the Fellows’ weekly work-in-progress seminars, as well as participate fully in the Centre’s activities.
