About

The new Oklahoma State University Center for the Humanities aims to increase the visibility of humanities research on campus while also fostering the production of new interdisciplinary projects. Its mission is to provide an inclusive and collaborative environment to initiate new interdisciplinary research, foster dialogue, and engage communities. This is achieved through panels and lecture series as well as a new research groups fellowship program. The Center provides a structure for networking and advocacy by increasing connections between scholars, working with state and regional partners, and demonstrating the contributions of the humanities for addressing social issues. We look forward to bringing together disconnected constituencies to further expand the reach and visibility of collaborative humanities work.
