Traveling to Canada

Please visit the Canadian government's travel page to check the requirements for traveling to Canada. We recommend utilizing the visa tool to determine your documentation requirements. Most people need a visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to travel to or transit through Canada. Some people may only need their valid passport.

Getting to Banff

The easiest way to get to Banff is to fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC) and take a shuttle from there. We have partnered with Banff Airporter, our preferred travel partner, to make your journey from the Calgary International Airport directly to your hotel as smooth as possible.

Exclusive Offer for Attendees:
Enjoy 15% off Banff Airporter's scheduled shuttle service, operating 11x daily between the airport and Banff Centre.

Promo Code: CHCIAM26
Valid for travel: May 29 - June 8, 2026

How to Book:

  1. Visit Banff Airporter and click "Book Now".
  2. Select "Banff Centre For Arts (Prof. Development Centre)" as your destination. Please use the Shuttle Calculator to figure out your shuttle time.
  3. Enter your travel details. Note that you will need your flight number and arrival time to complete the reservation.
  4. On the final payment page, enter CHCIAM26 in the "Promo Code" field to apply the discount.
