The 2011 CHCI Annual Meeting, Cities Humanities Archives will take place at the University of Toronto’s Jackman Humanities Institute, June 13-14, 2011. As in our 2010 Annual Meeting, we will be organizing pre-meeting programs such as Affinity Group meetings on Sunday, June 12. In addition to engaging plenary speakers, panels, and workshops, the 2011 Annual Meeting will include a one-day meeting on June 15 with our affiliate organization centerNet, an international consortium of digital humanities centers. In this partnership, CHCI and centerNet will work over the course of the next two+ years to develop various ways of addressing issues and challenges in the practice of the digital humanities. The gathering will address issues in the digital humanities and ways in which the CHCI membership might collaborate or interact with the growing number of digital humanities centers around the world.
