Ewha Institute for the Humanities, Ewha Womans University
DEADLINE: November 1, 2013 for February 2014 issue
Trans-Humanities is an academic journal for envisioning the new horizon of the humanities. The journal is published by Ewha Institute for the Humanities (EIH) which led the Humanities Korea (HK) project since 2007 with the focus, “Trans-Humanities: Reimagining and Reconstructing the Human Sciences.” We welcome any paper that deals with trans-boundary cultural phenomena and other issues about boundaries, especially in the areas of cultural interactions and hybridity, (cultural) translation and comparative literature, and post-humanism and the human, among others. We encourage research papers that attempt to overcome the limitations of preceding humanities studies and to develop pragmatic and multidisciplinary academic approaches.
